Carmen & Greig
This lovely lady couldnt have been more elegant if she tried, a dream to shoot but then she is a classically trained ballerina and oh it shows, sorry Carmen I am embarassing you (but gorgeousness needs to be celebrated) anyway lovely Carmen married her equally lovely, (lets not be unfair here) Scotsman in a traditional church ceremony complete with horse drawn carriage with their close friends present from home and abroad. Greenwheat Flowers of Penrith were responsible for the incredible show of bouquets you will see, they looked amazing with the colour of the bridesmaids leaf green dresses, it worked like a dream! While were on the subject, it's worth considering when you choose a colour scheme for the ladies to wear, what might actually go well with the English countryside at that particular time of year so if your wedding is in the height of Summer when that fresh new green everywhere, this isnt necessarrily going to look good as a backdrop to your bridesmaids in lets say a show sea green frocks, remember too that the darker the dresses you choose for the girls the darker grey/black they will go in any black & white images you may have, thats why us togs like a bride in a white dress because its always white, pop her in a red dress or even a soft pink then in your black & whites she's gone in one of many shades of grey!
I was only with the family for four or five hours as it was a smaller midweek wedding so the couple had a USB posted over to them in Canada three weeks later. Katie Dale of Windermere did Carmen’s beautiful hair & make up, horses were supplied very locally so I am sure the venue can advise if needed.
Two really lovely families coming together so a delight to work for I hope it shows in the images I've picked to share.
