Rebecca & Ben

Rebecca & Ben came up from London for their big day, Rebecca is a local girl and her parents actually own the local just opposite the Church. Rebecca got ready & left from the Hallmark Hotel, to keep out of the way of everyone (especially Ben) gathering in Mums pub beforehand. After the Church service there was a champagne reception at Tullie House. The weather played ball, so thank you the man upstairs! But I have to say one of the star of the day apart from the Bride (dress from Mia Bridal) was the Tithe Barn. You need to look to Derek Armstrong to congratulate for those quite incredible flowers. I have shot quite a few weddings in Tithe Barns over the years and this one can look really quite something once you have waved a magical creative wand at it, bunting and hanging lanterns are favourites but Derek really outdid himself this time with those incredible flowers. Also I have to say, loved the girls in the cornflower blue dresses, brilliant summer colour, I think it’s my favourite. Anyway this wedding has a tremendous local feel to it all taking place in the City, (yes Carlisle is a City) still looks leafy and green to me, very special this one.
